Monkez, Twitter, Remember, and Stretch!

Monkez Around, Twitter Bird, Elephants Remember and Stretch-out-your-neck Giraffe! The perfect gauzey summer blanket!

The glory of this sweet soft blanket is that it is so hugeand it is even softer and fluffier after washing! The perfect modesty cover for nursing mothers & babies, big enough for a sheet for the Pack n' Play, nice and snuggly to swaddle up baby, and just a good year round blanket!
Available in these up-beat prints:

Navy blue and green stripes, hugs & kisses logo, little peeps, or polka dots!

Hot and pastel pink stripes, polka dots, fluttery butterflies, little peeps, and daisies!

Cute critters: frogs, bumble bees, red caterpillars, or flaming orange gold fish.

Baby can sleep safe and sound in the gauzy sleep sack too! No blanket required, so he can snuggle up safely. Sleeveless, but covering chubby thighs, and it zips from top to bottom to prevent escapes!

Right now we have size L and XL in Buzzy Bumble Bee and Pink Butteryfly prints.

You're going to Love 'em!

Your Attention Please!

Every year The Delta Style, a north Louisiana publication, runs a contest that showcases the community’s favorite businesses in a variety of categories: dining, banking, shopping, even fried fish and ice cream! And guess what? Lusiana Traditions has been nominated! We are so humbled and surprised!

We would be so grateful if you would go to their website:

and vote for "Lusiana Traditions" under Best Gift Store category, before 5:00 p.m. July 17th!

While you are there, I would also suggest voting for Choudrant's Doody's Diner for Fried Fish, Community Trust Bank (which originated in Choudrant!) and of course Ruston Peach Ice Cream! There are many categories listed and you can vote for as many or as few as you would like.

Thanks ever-so-much!

Love ya' Honey!

Belle of the Season! Sweet Juicy Ruston Peaches!

Ahhhh...Sweet Juicy Peaches and Lincoln Parish Louisiana! Our hometowns...no matter how far they've roamed, Rustonites will soon begin their annual pilgrimage back to Ruston for the historic Peach Festival. All the festivities are so much fun: June 26-Opening ceremony and Crossroads Band at 6pm in Railroad Park. June 27-All day-Citywide Sidewalk Sales, Baby Photo Contest and Petting Zoo. Arts & Crafts at Ruston Civic Center, Antique Car Show at Bancorp South - 9am-Parade and food court in downtown Ruston. 2pm-Russ Town Band concert at the Dixie Theatre, 6pm-Hank Staples & Thunder Creek, 8pm-Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder. June 28-Gospel & Contemporary Christian Music begins at Noon. For the complete schedule, go to www.louisianapeachfestival.org.

To help prepare for long lost relatives who will return for you to cherish and nurture, we have searched far and wide for a really good snack. In addition to the dip mixes that we traditionally carry (Jazzy Shrimp Bisque, Cajun Crab, Ragin Cagun, Plantation Mex, Sassy Spinach, Spinach Artichoke, White Chocolate Raspberry, Just plain Vanilla, and Caramel!) we have added "In a Jam", Peach Jam that is. It is quite tasty, even if I do say so myself! It has a spicey and sweet flavor (from the yummy Ruston Peach Preserves!). In a Jam is a "cracker backer" or "bagel buddy"- which means it is spreadable, for crackers or bagels and it is soooooo delicious!

For your family and friends who can't make it home for the Peach Festival, send a little memento of Ruston Peaches, Maybe a dip mix and spreader, add a jar of Peach Jam or for a really nice gift add the beaded edge dip bowl. They'll really appreciate an edible and useful gift like that!

To help clean-up after the crew gathers for treats, we have the cutest Peach flower sack dishtowel!

MLT designs Fresh Peaches and Peach Cobbler Recipe towels are both the soft cup-towels our grandmothers used to dry those punch cups back in their day. They are cute for display this summer and handy to really use.

Summertime serving pieces in white, cream, celery, persimmon, and even a graceful fern pattern would be lovely to add to your simpler dish patterns.

We even have a Peach Lovers sign! Perfect for your family room, porch, or poolside! Welcome the Peach Season!

Happy Peach Festival Y'all! Hope to see you next weekend!~

Aghhh...There's a lotta jewelry here folks!

We are overflowing with JEWELRY! We brought more, More, and even MORE jewelry home from market! I am a sucker for jewelry - I can't help it! Love it! Love it! Love it! All the baubles and bangles are so beautiful! I can't wait for y'all to see it! There's a lot of flower power in bright bold color or silver and gold. Bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings-we have it all. Long luscious beads in pearls or brights to double or not. Single, double, or multiple strand beads without or with gorgeous ornate cross pendants to easily clip on. Choices, choices, choices:Beads in turquoise, Red coral, multi brights, and multi muted tones are a few of your choices. Bracelets...bangle word bracelets, stretchy cuffs, Scripture bangles, magnetic clip-on jewels! The 50th Anniversary of the Peace Symbol is reflected in the ornate necklaces, bracelets, and bling bling earrings! Peace, Cross, and stone charm necklaces have earrings to match.

Kate has the right idea. When we brought jewelry home from market, she just jumped right in and loaded her arms and fingers with every bracelet and ring she could grab! Mason was disappointed to find we had no trains, planes, or automobiles!
